INTRODUCTION This manual covers installation and pre-delivery service of remote control units for use with Honda outboard motors above 15 hp. Installation and pre-delivery service must be performed by an authorized Honda Marine dealer. Thease Instructions are for dealer use only. Then, pushing tho thronlo button, move tho control lever to forward Ol' reverse position and warm up the engine. The throttle button can be pushed onlywhe n FORWARD the control lever is in the neutral position. After warming up the e ngine, return the control lever to the neutral position to shift. The control lever cannot be moved unless the neutral lock lever ia squeezed. Top·mount control: • There must be enough space under the control unit for control cable routing {see page 13). 2. Calculate the control cable length.
